# Lovebirds Terracotta Bread Warmer & Handwoven Basket

Warm bread, a slow weekend morning, and a little birdsong for the table. This oval terracotta bread warmer features two lovebirds nestled among flowers and leaves, paired with a handwoven seagrass basket for a welcoming, cottage-style serving piece.

Designed and curated by KORISSA in New York and handmade by artisan partners in Bangladesh, it brings natural texture and thoughtful craftsmanship to everyday meals. A lovely gift for the bread baker, bird lover, or host who makes everyone feel at home.

### Thoughtfully made

- Includes one engraved terracotta warming stone and one oval handwoven basket.
- Materials: terracotta stone; seagrass basket with jute-wool detailing.
- Stone: approximately 10.75 × 6.25 × 0.5 inches.
- Basket: approximately 12 × 7.5 × 3.25 inches.
- Natural tones and handcrafted details vary slightly in color, design, and size.

### How to enjoy

Before first use, rinse the terracotta stone with water and dry thoroughly. Heat the stone only in a preheated 350°F oven for 5–10 minutes, or microwave on high for 2–4 minutes. Using oven mitts or tongs, carefully place the hot stone inside the basket. Lay a cloth napkin or tea towel over the stone, add your bread, and cover with another cloth to help retain warmth.

**Never place the basket in the oven. Handle the hot stone carefully to avoid burns.**

### Care

Hand-wash or wipe the stone clean with water and dry well; it is not dishwasher safe. Dust or gently vacuum the basket regularly, using a damp cloth when needed. Avoid rubbing spills, dry thoroughly after moisture exposure, and keep out of direct sunlight to help preserve the natural fibers and color.
