# Flower Terracotta Bread Warmer & Seagrass Basket

Bring a little warmth to the cottage table with a flower-engraved terracotta bread warmer nestled in a handwoven seagrass basket. The naturally insulating stone helps keep bread warm, making slow weekend breakfasts and shared suppers feel that much more inviting.

Designed and curated by KORISSA in New York and handmade by artisan partners in Bangladesh, this set pairs earthy terracotta with the texture of sustainably grown seagrass. A thoughtful gift for a bread baker, a welcoming host, or anyone who loves gathering around the table.

### Materials & Details

- Includes one oval flower-engraved terracotta bread warmer and one handwoven basket.
- Warmer: 100% terracotta; approximately 10.75 inches wide × 6.25 inches deep × 0.5 inches tall.
- Basket: seagrass with jute wool detailing; approximately 12 inches wide × 7.5 inches deep × 3.25 inches tall.
- Color: Natural.
- Handcrafted variations in design, color, and size are part of each piece’s character.

### How to Use

Before first use, rinse the terracotta stone with water and dry thoroughly. Heat the stone only in a preheated 350°F oven for 5–10 minutes, or microwave on high for 2–4 minutes. Using oven mitts or tongs, carefully place the hot stone in the basket. Lay a cloth napkin or tea towel over the stone to protect it from oil stains, then add your bread and cover with another cloth to help retain warmth. KORISSA’s instructions state that this can keep bread warm for up to 40 minutes.

**Never put the basket in the oven. Handle the hot stone carefully to avoid burns.**

### Care

- Stone: Hand-wash or wipe clean with a damp cloth, then dry well. Not dishwasher safe.
- Basket: Dust or vacuum regularly; wipe with a damp cloth when needed. Do not rub spills or stains, as this may spread the stain and loosen the natural fibers.
- The whitewashed finish can be removed by hand or with pressurized water.
- Dry thoroughly after exposure to water and keep out of direct sunlight to help prevent fading.
